Manhart Exerts More Style With New BMW XM Body Kit
Auto News

If you’ve seen the BMW XM on the road in person, you’ll know it’s one unattractive car. However, Manhart has taken this “ugly duckling” and transformed it into a swan with its latest body kit styling package. It’s rare for a third-party body kit to significantly improve a vehicle’s aesthetics, but I’m pleased to say that Manhart’s design team deserves recognition—they truly understand that style is everything.

Building on the already formidable BMW XM Label Red, Manhart’s MHXM 900 takes performance to an entirely new level. The factory-tuned 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, paired with an electric motor, delivers an impressive 738 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. However, with Manhart’s signature MHtronik powerbox and upgraded exhaust options, the output soars to a staggering 888 horsepower and 885 lb-ft of torque.

To further enhance the driving experience, Manhart offers optional race downpipes without catalytic converters or with 300-cell catalytic converters. Customers can also choose between an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust or a custom-built stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable valves.

The vehicle’s aggressive stance is achieved through H&R lowering springs and Manhart’s Concave One wheels, sized 24×10 inches at the front and a massive 24×12 inches at the rear, all wrapped in high-performance tires.

A striking carbon fiber body kit enhances the XM’s bold design, featuring a new splitter, front air intakes, a custom hood, extended side sills, a roof spoiler, rear lip, and a bold diffuser. Completing the exterior transformation, this particular MHXM 900 is wrapped in a matte grey finish.

Inside, the cabin is further elevated with additional carbon fibre accents on the dashboard and center console, adding a touch of luxury and exclusivity.
