There are houses, and then there are modern contemporary architectural masterpieces that elevate living to the next level. One such example is Pippins House, located in Red Hill on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, Australia.
Surrounded by vineyards and offering views of the bay, Pippins serves as a holiday home for a Melbourne-based family.
Pippins House is a single-storey, X-shaped residence featuring expansive glass walls that connect the interior with the picturesque views and entertaining spaces at both the front and rear of the home.
Its two solid concrete roofs overlap, cantilevering 2.5 meters along the perimeter and extending 3.5 meters at the corners.
The roof’s soffit tapers to a 100-millimetre bullnose, imparting a sense of lightness to this stunning holiday retreat.
