Lexus ED Black Line Special Edition - Master Stance
The Lexus ES Black Line is The Most Boring Special Edition On The Market
Auto News

Lexus is renowned for crafting cars with bulletproof reliability and premium luxury. Ironically, despite often being statistically superior in every way, the brand’s image has never matched the allure of BMW or Mercedes. Why? Because Lexus is perceived as boring.

Boring design, boring interiors, and exceptional reliability just don’t captivate the market. Lexus is popular in the USA, but in Europe, it’s seen as simply too boring.

Despite its impeccable reliability and premium luxury, Lexus continues to excel at one thing: being remarkably unremarkable.

That unremarkable brand image is highlighted in the Lexus ES Black Line ushering in new levels of boring for a brand perpetually struggling to break free from the curse of being boring.

Based on the ES 350 F Sport Handling, the Black Line Special Edition features Obsidian mirrors, a black rear spoiler, and black rocker panel accents.

The model also has F Sport puddle lights as well as a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a head-up display. Other highlights include a Panoramic View Monitor and a SmartAccess Card Key.

Thankfully production is limited to 1,000 units and the special edition costs an extra $3,965. That means customers will need to shell out a total of $53,615.
